Anti-Discrimination Policy for Learners
Purpose: The primary goal of this policy is to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants. It explicitly prohibits discrimination, harassment, and any form of inequitable treatment based on characteristics such as race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other distinguishing feature.
Scope: This policy is applicable to all learners engaged in our courses, whether they are participating in-person or through online platforms.
Policy Guidelines:
- Respect and Dignity: All learners are expected to treat their peers, instructors, and staff members with respect. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Reporting Concerns: Learners are encouraged to report any incidents of discrimination or harassment to the course instructor or program coordinator. All reports will be handled confidentially and addressed in a timely manner.
- Consequences of Policy Violation: Any breach of this policy may lead to disciplinary actions, which could include removal from the course.
- Commitment to Inclusivity: We are committed to creating a welcoming learning environment where diverse perspectives are appreciated and respected.
Acknowledgment of Policy: Learners will be required to acknowledge and agree to this policy during the account creation process in our Learning Management System (LMS).
